Poor MAC Blush.. & more falsies

I usually look forward to Tuesday's & Thursday's because they're the only days where I come home early and it's usually the time I update my blog. I was thinking of doing a FOTD but instead I decided to depot some of my MAC blushes because they've been sitting in my make-up drawer.

I'm usually very careful when it comes to depotting eyeshadows & blushes but for some reason my Emote blush did not want to cooperate with me. :[

I did have the chance to press it back together but, I'm not all that great at pressing because I get so messy & impatient. hehe. But hopefully by tomorrow it'll look "okay" and I'll still be able to use it. Anyway... just wanted to show you more false eyelashes that I bought at Sally's a few days ago. I am seriously taking advantage of this whole buy 1 get one for $.99. Hahaha.

Sally Beauty Supply Haul

[click to go to website for more offers]

So I went to Sally's today to buy some falsies and to my surprise, they're having a sale! It's buy one get one for 99 cents excluding starter kits & adhesive. How cool is that? So you ladies should go to your nearest Sally Beauty Supply Store and do some major hauling since this sale is for a limited time only. I believe the coupon says that this offer expires on the 30th of this month. I didn't really look around the store to see what else was on sale but on their website they have a whole bunch of hair care & nail care products that are on sale right now. So be sure to check it out!! I bought 4 sets of false eyeslashes including adhesive since I'm almost out of my duo. Do any of you ladies have these falsies already? How are they? Let me know!!

FOTD: Black & Yellow

I'm at it again!! I should be studying for my exam for my Business Law class. But I just couldn't help myself from going over the top with this look. I've always wanted to attempt a look like this but I was never brave enough nor did I ever have the time. And since I'm out of school early today I thought I'd play with some makeup and go a little crazy.

If you wanna know what I used just let me know and I'll be more than happy to tell you. As for a tutorial, gosh I don't even know when's the next time I'll ever have time to do a look like this. I kinda just did this look as a spur of the moment type of thing. But I do know that there's a tutorial on YouTube very similar to it, except I think hers is a lot better than mine. Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11lNsv-nOeM&feature=related

FOTD: Tequila Sunrise

Yesterday I asked my boyfriend to give me some colors to work with so I can create a FOTD for todays posting. At first he responded back to me with "how about the colors from a 7Up can?".... LOL I was laughing inside because he's so silly. And then he came up with this picture he saw online and I thought it would be fun to experiment with these colors to try to create something similar to it. I tried to pull it off and I think I came pretty darn close. The name of this drink is called "Tequila Sunrise" so I name it that. And of course he's all, you should name it the "Tina Sunrise". I'm like... no. Hehe. Anyway it's just not as bold and intense as it is in the picture. But overall, I like the outcome of it. My camera did wash out the colors just a little bit but you get the idea of what I was going for.

My Inspiration

What I used on the eyes:
UDPP as primary base
NYX jumbo e/s pencil in Milk on inner eyelid only
MAC Flammable paint on outter eyelid only
MAC Chrome Yellow e/s on inner eyelid
MAC Juiced e/s on middle eyelid
MAC Fab & Flashy e/s on top of Juiced
MAC Off the Radar pigment between outer & inner eyelid
Estee Lauder Berry Ice e/s on outter crease [on top of the paint]
Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner in black
L'Oreal Voluminous mascara
MAC Royal Wink f/l on waterline,
--> can you believe they discontinued this fluidline, my heart aches because of this =(
MAC Freshwater e/s on lashline

I added black eyeliner to the lower waterline in this picture to see if I liked it better, & I did!

FOTD: Pink, Silver & Black

So for today's look I decided to play with some colors. I've never really combined these colors before so I thought I'd give it a try and I actually like how it turned out. Hehe. It's too bad I didn't go out wearing it. Despite the bright colored makeup, I'd say it is most def wearable out in public. I like the fact that it's not too shimmery/glittery. That stuff really grinds my gears sometimes. Speaking of which, have I mentioned how much I love Silver Fog pigment? UGHH, I forget sometimes how much I love it!! Sometimes I'm overwhelmed and afraid to use it sometimes because it's such a true silver color & it's really shimmery. But when I apply it wet, it really sets into your eyelids so it's not too glittery plus it blends out really well with colors! So keep that in mind for those who own this pigment because I seriously love it!! Lol. Okay... let's get on with this. [:

I'm a little lazy to type down everything I used to create this look, but if you really wanna know, just let me know and I'll be happy to give it to you. But to make the long story short, I used Passionate e/s, Silver Fog pigment [applied wet], Carbon e/s, & a few others. Hope you like it!! ;D
