What's Inside Your Medicine Cabinet?

What's inside your medicine cabinet? I just randomly decided to take a picture of what's inside my medicine cabinet to share with everyone. It is somewhat beauty related so why the heck not! I have my own bathroom at home (I still live with my parents -__-) so it's nice to have a bathroom all to myself. This particular medicine cabinet is frameless with recessed mirrors and adjustable shelves. So basically, it's covered with mirrors! I usually keep my skincare products inside of mine since I'm at the sink washing my face anyway. That way I can reach for my facial cleanser and moisturizer when I need it. Keep in mind this is not where everything is kept. I have other shelves in my bathroom that contain other facial necessities and such but this post is only dedicated to my medicine cabinet. :)

Top row: I have a travel size baby powder for when I would travel. I don't use it that much but I have used it as an alternative to my dry shampoo even though it doesn't work nearly as well. It sucks actually, lol. I keep an empty spray bottle that had makeup remover in it but it's empty now. I keep Anbesol in the very back put you can't see it and my deodorant as well as this mud mask for your body from Bath & Body Works. I don't use it but I have no other place to keep it so it stays there! I also have a few hair styling products that have been collecting dust for quite some time now.

Middle row: This is where I keep my toners, pore masks, teeth whiteners and a few of my perfumes. I think my perfume looks really random there but again, I was just filling up space at the time so I decided to put a few in there.

Bottom row: This is where I keep some of my facial cleansers and face masks. I'm currently using St. Ives as my facial cleanser and exfoliator. Next to it I keep my contact lens solution. I don't usually wear contact lenses. The only time I ever wear them is to do a look or if I feel like being a little more festive. I have this Estee Lauder Night Repair serum and this prescription face cream when I used to have a lot of breakouts. Next to that I have this whitening mask which I'm currently testing out. I just bought it 2 weeks ago so I'm still on the fence about it. I'm hoping to do a review on it soon! The pink bottle is my moisturizer and next to it is my Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask which I recently restocked on. I couldn't find it at this place where I usually saw them but I finally found them at Bed Bath & Beyond. I also keep my Perricone eye cream, Cetaphil for when my skin gets oily, and mouth wash!

False Eyelashes from KKCenterhk

You all know I LOVE false eyelashes! Everything to the type of style or brand, I love them all! I personally think that a pair of falsies will complete every look you do. It just adds a little more flare especially if you have short stubby lashes that look almost nonexistent *cough* like me! Well mine aren't really stubby or nonexistent, but they are fairly short in my opinion. That's why I always settle for a pair of lashes. Majority of the time I do wear false eyelashes. As far as going out, I can't remember the last time I didn't wear any. It's just my personal preference that I would much rather wear them than not. That's just me!

Anyway, these lashes were specially sent from KKCENTERHK.COM for me to show you guys just how awesome their lashes are. As always for a lot of Asian brand lashes, you typically get 10 pairs in one box which to me is a better deal than purchasing one pair. Since it all comes in one box, every pair comes out to be less than a dollar for most of these lashes. Typical lashes get pricey, I'm telling you! So these are a steal. They also sell wigs, nail polish, accessories, even leggings! There's a ton of stuff on their website, so check it out!

Brand: ES
Style: A013
Price: $2.80 USD for 10 pairs
Semi-stiff band but easily conforms to your eyelid shape
Personally one of my favorites of the bunch
I'm in love with the criss-cross pattern in these lashes

 → Brand: ES
Style: A715
Price: $8.40 USD for 10 pairs
These lashes would definitely satisfy everyone!
They're more like your "Can't Go Wrong With This Pair" of lashes. If you get my drift!
They look very natural but they're long enough to give you extra flare.
At first I thought these were too natural for me but as you can see, they look amazing!

Brand: ES
Style: A22
Price: $2.80 USD for 10 pairs
The band was so stiff that I thought it was going to feel uncomfortable but once on, it felt fine
It feels very unnatural but it looks amazing!
Another one of my favorites!

Brand: ES
Style: A222
Price: $6.30 USD for 10 pairs
Short natural looking lashes with a semi-stiff band
These do not flare whatsoever, they're almost stick straight
These are perfect for people with really short lashes and want a little oomph!
May require curling with an eyelash curler to give it more volume

 Brand: LSS
Style: A7
Price: $12.50 USD for 10 pairs
 Very thin and flimsy band
Wasn't sure how I felt about this pair at first but after having it on, I fell in love!
They're long and they flare perfectly
They look a little spaced out at first glance but they blend nicely with your natural lashes making them look fuller.

Recommendations: Styles A013, A715 and A7
Pass Up: Style A222

Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner - Review, Photos & Swatches

For years I've been faithful to my MAC Blacktrack Fluidline. I'm still an avid user of that product but I wanted to branch out and use something for everyday use that wouldn't break the bank on a regular basis. I've seen the Maybelline gel liner a few times at my local drugstores but I never considered purchasing it. So in a way you can say that I purchased this on a whim. And to be honest, I don't regret purchasing it at all! For the most part, it did a really good job at staying on my eyes. I do like to pull off the winged eyeliner and I did notice a little bit of fading in the wing but then again, what eyeliner doesn't eventually fade over time?

AVAILABLE AT: Local drugstores. I bought mine at Walmart
PRICE:
$6-$8 USD
SIZE: 1.06 oz (3g)
VALUE FOR PRICE: 5/5
EASE OF USE: 5/5
PACKAGING: 4/5
MEETS EXPECTATIONS: 4/5
OVERALL USE: 5/5

PROS:

Inexpensive
Appears very black which I like since some eyeliners that say black come off as a charcoal color.
The brush that comes with it actually works really well
More product in the pot than MAC Fluidline
Color pay is a definite dupe to MAC Blacktrack Fluidline
Waterproof

CONS:
Availability. I was really lucky to find this since they're always out of stock.
Slight smudging
Doesn't really last 24 hours as it states

Can you tell which product is Maybelline and which is MAC?

Maybelline / MAC

Scentsy! (Non-Makeup Related)

My cousin is a new consultant for Scentsy and she introduced my whole family to this amazing product! I've had a product similar to this except it used real candles to heat up the wax (or oil) but I love the fact that Scentsy uses a light bulb. So not only can you switch it on and off whenever you please, but you don't have to worry about causing a fire either! My mom and I both have one and so do all my cousins and my aunts! Also, the scents are amazing! There are so many to choose from!

My top scents are
  • Kahiko Hula
  • Guava Nectar
  • Enchanted Mist
  • Sweet Pea & Vanilla
  • Camu Camu
  • Vanilla Cream
There are so many really good scents and I can't wait to buy more! If you're interested in purchasing a product for yourself or as a gift for the holidays, you can host a Scentsy party or you can find a consultant in your city by visiting their website. They also have really cute Scentsy warmers that come in different sizes, colors and designs. They have one that's good for the whole house, a mid-size for your bedroom, and they also have a plug-in if you decide to put one in your bathroom. If you guys have never tried Scentsy I can't even tell you guys how amazing the scents are! I find them a lot better than candles, and you know how pricey candles can get! I'm currently using Enchanted Mist and OMG, it smells so good! I put my Scentsy warmer on my nightstand by my bed and when I go to sleep at night, I could still smell it even when it's not on! The scents aren't too strong either. And let me tell you, I cannot put up with really strong scents because I get a headache really easily. But I love these! They smell amazing without being too powerful. I'm seriously in love with it! I'm thinking of getting one for my boyfriend to put in his room hehe.

Basically to use the warmer, all you have to do is put in one cube of the scent that you want inside the dish and let the heat from the light bulb melt the wax. Each cube can last up to 12 hours and I personally don't even use them all day, so to me that's a very long time! You can also easily switch scents if you feel like changing things up. All you have to do is pour the melted wax back into the packaging and wipe off any excess that is left in the dish.

My warmer is called Raven -- from their Twist Collection

December Nights + Quickie EOTD: Pink, Purple & Blue

I don't usually post anything personal on this blog. It's been a while since I've last done that but it won't hurt to post a little more personal things on here right? I'm pretty sure some of you might like it. Anyway, last weekend my boyfriend and I went to December Nights here in San Diego. It's a 2 day event where they have food, entertainment, Christmas lights, and much more. My main purpose for going was because I wanted to take advantage of the free museum admissions. So they open up the museums for anyone to come in without paying. I also wanted to go because I wanted to take Christmas pictures with my love. :) There's more pictures on my personal blog if you'd like to take a look.

Also, since I'm so bad at updating my makeup blog, I've decided to start this new thing for my blog where I post quick EOTD's or FOTD's of my makeup. Most of the time I don't have time to take pictures of what I have on because usually I'm in a hurry to leave the house. So I end up taking pictures with my iPhone and from there I can update my blog directly from my phone. All eyeshadows used are from Sugarpill cosmetics. One of my eyes is starting to show a little bit of creasing because this was taken towards the end of the day. Hope you all like it!

Sunset On Thanksgiving

Haha okay so let me explain the title. I tried to recreate my Thanksgiving look (I know I am long overdue) so this is the look that I came up with. It isn't even the same look but I thought it was a little Thanksgiving-esque. Nonetheless I hope you all like it. I also recorded a really random video with my iPhone which is surprising because I don't do videos anymore! Hahah. But yeah I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! Happy Holidays!! :)
