Here are some swatches of Glamour Doll Eyes mineral eyeshadow that I received. I applied these eyeshadows without a base but I did use mixing medium so you can see how vibrant the colors are through the camera. The vibrancy of these colors applied dry are just as good. And what I love about them is that I hardly get any fallout when I apply it dry, which is a major issue for other pigments.
Here's a look I did perfect for summer in my opinion. It's very subtle with the brown with a pop color from the yellow. Hope you like it! (:
EYES:
MAC Bare Study paint pot as a base
Glamour Doll Eyes mineral eyeshadow in Electric Lemonade all over lid (wet)
MAC Revved-Up pigment applied above crease (dry)
MAC Gold Stroke pigment applied above crease (on top of Revved-Up, dry)
MAC Cocomotion pigment applied to outer corner (dry)
MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow applied outer crease
MAC Nylon eyeshadow as a highlight
K-Palette liquid eyeliner applied to upper lashline
Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in black on lower lashline
Bliss lashes #139
Smashbox Bionic Mascara
LIPS:
MAC Oh Baby l/g

ReplyDeletei loove the electric lemonade on you!! gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWow! Nice look! So lovely colors combination!
ReplyDeleteAnd btw, for clean outer corner part I try to create right shape with my brush and after shadow application apply something natural or press powder for more clean effect! I'm not using scotch tape on my eyes area, I think it's not good for that type of skin...
Your looks are ALWAYS stunning!! How long does it take you to put a look like this together..?
ReplyDeleteI love GDE's pigments! This look is gorgeous. I always go on your site, but I never comment. I just wanted to say you're one of my favorite beauty bloggers. You always come up with the best looks & I love reading your reviews :D

ReplyDeleteI love the look! Glad you got them! She said she sent them out late sorry about that! :(
ReplyDeleteAnyway, sorry Ive been so busy but I wanted to reply back to ya about the brush cleaners, they both work great, the one from Michaels has a bigger jar, but you have to replace the sponge after awhile (which is still no biggie since they are relatively cheap!), and the Parian Spirit comes in a smaller canister which is easier to wash brushes with shorter handles and comes with the plastic grate which also effectively removes makeup from the brushes. The only thing I like about the Parian Spirit is that there's isn't a wait time till your brushes are dry again you can literally use your brushes right after!
