Many Many Thank You's

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I just wanted to make a post saying thank you to all you ladies out there who left good-hearted words on my previous post.

I would go to every single one of your blogs and thank you individually but I know I'll probably just be repeating myself to all of you. So I hope you have the chance to read this as a way of my showing thanks to you. [:

I'm glad I get to share my thoughts and feelings with you ladies knowing that most of you know a little bit of what I'm going through. And even though some of you may not know the feeling, I still thank you anyway for taking the time to show that you understand where I'm coming from.

I really do look at you ladies as a sister from another mister, except most of you are too damn far! Not only am I glad I get to share my personal life, but also our love affair... makeup! Hehe.

So thank you ladies!

What's the info with me and Victor?
We're doing swell. LOL. :D We do go through our shit here & there but, what couple doesn't? He's coming down here for winter break and I plan on taking some of you ladies' advice and just coming clean to my parents. I honestly don't know how long I can keep up with living a "double life" behind their back.

Victor and I have always wanted to just be straight up with my parents, but they don't want anything to do with him. My mom, on some days, would tell me she wants to meet him, and the next she'll completely change her mind and break out in a rage! So it's kind of difficult.

But yes, all that matters is that Victor and I are happy [at least he says he's happy... lol jk].

Anyway, he's on his way to the Bay Area to hang out with his best friend. He says he's going shopping... we'll see what he comes home with. Hahaha. [;

FOTD: Yellow

So I've decided to close the poll now because majority of you ladies [& gents?] voted that I should do make-up tutorials. And who ever that 1 out of the 45th person that voted NO I shouldn't do tutorials probably just wanted to break the "Hell Yeah!" chain. HAHA. But whatever. To who ever voted NO, your vote isn't important anyway. You're outnumbered by a mile. So voting NO doesn't make you any cooler. LOL. But I thank everyone for voting. :]

Anyway, how was everyone's weekend? Mine was alright. I had a party to go to and I had a big ass homework project due this morning and I didn't get started on it til yesterday after my teacher assigned it over a month ago! I'm such a procrastinator but sometimes my best work are the ones I start late on. Haha. This paper I did was 21 pages long! Holy sh*t!! I was surprised I didn't have to pull an all-nighter just to work on it.

Anyway, I don't know about you ladies but I'm so excited about the Hello Kitty Mac collection that's coming out in February. I don't want everything in the collection but as a MAC lover, my goal is to purchase at least one thing from every collection that comes out. I haven't been doing that lately but I do plan on catching up! Yay I'm excited! I told my boyfriend to get it for me for Valentine's Day. HAHA! We'll see if he remembers.... ;]

Here's a yellow FOTD I did today for school. And holy f*ck was it cold today! I was fah-reeeezing my nipps off like madd crazy. Ahh well, I like the cold. :]

I just realized this FOTD is ugly....

Product Review: Ly-Na Pearl Cream

For starters, I've grown some major balls to post these pictures of myself without any make-up on. So what you are about to see may not be at all appealing. So if you just had a big dinner or if you're the type to get queezy fast, keep in mind that viewer discretion is advised. LOL. Haha just kidding. It ain't THAT bad! I hope...

HOW I USE THIS PRODUCT:

CONS:
Smells like an old lady [you get used to it so after a while it's not so bad]
Not easy to find, depends where you live
Packaging sucks & it's too shallow

OVERALL:
When I first bought this cream I was excited to try it since a lot of you ladies swear by it that it's the "holy grail". When I first tried it the first time, I didn't see much of a difference. Then Anne told me not to apply too much. So the next time I tried it, I made sure I applied only a thin layer. The next morning, still... no difference. So for about a week I stopped using it.

Then I saw that Iyah did a product review on this cream and the results were so crazy! Her face looked so good I was jealous. She told me she applies A LOT of this stuff to her face. So I thought that if it didn't work using a little bit of this product the first time, then maybe if I apply a lot of it, it'll work better. In the end it did clear up for the most part but just not completely. Which is why I give this product an overall 3 out of 5.

I still plan on using this product and I'm still hoping to see a difference. I also don't use it every night. I use it about 3 nights straight and I skip about another 3 nights and I continue using it again. Not only do I not want to make my face too white but it's also a pain to make sure you don't get it on your pillows when you're sleeping at night. Hehehe.

Product Review: Silk Elements

Woooo! My first product review. Not sure if I'm gonna keep doing reviews, I guess it all depends on what there is to review on. But I guess it won't hurt to inform people about different products that people may not be familiar with. I also said I was gonna do a review on the Ly-Na Pearl Cream but I've stopped using it for a while and I've just started using it again so I'm hoping to do a review on that soon.

Bamboozle FAQ & FOTD

Before anything else, I love how you ladies say Bamboozle because me and my boyfriend totally made that up when he first bought it for me. It sure is a lot more fun than just saying bamboo. Haha. BAMBOOZLE!! Hehehe.

Anyway, so I did a FOTD and instead of uploading pictures like normal, I decided to fix it up a bit. Can you guys tell I'm hella diggin my Bamboozle? Anyway before I post the FOTD I just wanted to answer a few more questions that many of you have asked.

1. How much did you get your Bamboo Fun?
- My Boyfriend, Victor, bought it for me for $100.
2. Is it hard to use?
- Not to me. It takes a little getting used to especially if you're so used to using a mouse.
3. How does it hook up to your laptop/computer?
- Through a USB port
4. What's the name of the program?
- What program? You mean how I edit pictures? It's called Photoshop Elements
5. It comes with photoshop?
- Yes indeed.
6. Do you have to download the brushes?
- No. Photoshop comes with its default brushes but I do download them. [I forgot what websites]
7. What's the difference between a Wacom & a Bamboo?
- Bamboo is a new category of tablets from Wacom. So it's the same thing just different model.

NYX Lippies + More Bamboozle!!

Wee!! I'm on a roll! A lot of you ladies asked me how much I got my tablet [also known as my touchpad, also known as my Wacom Bamboo Fun]. At first I thought that this type model was the cheapest which runs for $100 but there's another one that costs $79 but it doesn't come with as many features as the Bamboo Fun. For more info, just check out their website.

I suggest investing in it if you think you'll be using it a lot. I don't just use it for fun.... I take that back, I ONLY use it for fun but I make use of it. I don't just go on paint and doodle my name and draw pictures and what not. Plus, I've bragged so much to my boyfriend how much I want Photoshop on my laptop [because I lost the CD when I had photoshop before] and I told him how much I wanted a touchpad. So he was sweet enough to buy it for me. [:

Anyhooodle, I'm thinking of doing this to all my pictures. And as much as it would take so much of my time rather than just uploading pictures like normal, I actually have a lot of fun doing it. Maybe there will be times where I'll just post pictures like normal but every now & then I can do something like this.

Yeah, so I totally suck at taking lip pictures. My digital camera broke so I'm stuck using my mom's Sony which is a lot bulkier than mine so it's a little difficult so just bare with me!

Can you find yourself?! Don't worry blogger babes, I check out every single one of you beauties! I just took these pictures as I clicked around when I was blogging. [;

I Love My Bamboozle

I know it has nothing to do with make-up. But the purpose of this blog [and the whole point of changing my URL] is to post a lot of random things that aren't make-up related. I love my Wacom Bamboo touchpad. Victor [my boyfriend] bought it for me during the summer and I've just been going crazy with it. And since it comes with Photoshop, I get to play with it and do all this stuff. I'm so diggin it right now. Sometimes I neglect it and it just sits on my desk but when I do have the time to use it, I get so happy and my creativity starts to shine through. Haha. Did I ever mention back in high school I wanted to become a Graphic Designer? Blahhh I guess not so much anymore. So much for my creativity. I guess that's what make-up is for right? Haha, anyhooot, I'm bored.

EOTD: Smokey Lime Green

I got an e-mail request from gemberry13@yahoo.com to recreate a look similar to the Halloween look I did previously but instead of black & orange, she wanted black & bright/lime green. Honest to say, I don't think I did a very good job with this look and I felt like I rushed it too much. Sorry Gemberry! So please ignore the flaws & the ugly eyebrows. I did this so fast! Also the "defined crease" that I was going for, did not turn out as clean as I wanted it. But I wanted to give this look a try anyway. [: For the green I used MAC Pharaoh paint pot & Eyepopping eyeshadow. Everything else was used the same.

FOTD: Every Day Look

Sorry for the lack of updates! Anyway, it's cold in San Diego now! It was raining all day today but the sun is starting to come out. I haven't been doing that many FOTD's lately just because I haven't felt like it. And even if I did I'd most likely just do my "every day look". I think I've officially labeled this as my every day look because it's really simple to do and it's pretty natural. I'm not gonna list what I used because I've mentioned almost all these products before in my natural & brown looks. And this look can be easily duplicated using different products that look the same. But I hope you like it!

My funky double eyelid.
This happens sometimes when I wake up in the morning.

check out my big ass forehead :P

Bought an Essential Tools contour brush [little fall-out after washing, almost as soft as the MAC 168 but not quite, Ardell lashes in 101 Demi & 105, & Silk Elements hair conditioner. [Review for this product will be posted soon]

I VOTED! I went to the nearest voting poll which happens to be at my old Jr. High up the street and when I turned in my ballot the lady asked me if I was hispanic. I said no I'm Filipino and she gave me this sticker. Haha.
