Fall Trend: Bold Lips (Mixing Lip Colors)

Wearing bold lips is just as fun as wearing dramatic eyes. It's nice to step away from your basic smokey eye for Fall and replace it with a bold lip instead. It's also fun to custom make your own lip colors (I do this all the time) into a new shade for you to wear and that's what I did for this lip color.

I wanted a really deep, dark red, plummy lip color so I decided to combine Wet N Wild Vamp It Up and Red Velvet Mega Last Lip Color. Vamp It Up is definitely a difficult color to pull off if it's not Halloween. That's why I paired it with another color to make it more appropriate for daily wear!

I also wanted to keep the eyes very minimal since the lips were the main focus of the look. That's why I went with really soft eyes with barely any color in my crease, clean winged eyeliner, and wispy lashes. :)

Series 4: Wet N Wild Pride Palette Look & Tutorial

I decided to do a series of looks using each of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes (6 Pan). These shadows are really inexpensive and made with really great quality. Each color has amazing pigmentation with smooth and rich, but never powdery texture. With a mixture of both matte and shimmer eyeshadows, there are endless possibilities to create different looks just by mixing and matching different colors from each palette. Within the next upcoming posts I'll be focusing on creating a look using each palette and working with some (or all) of the 6 colors.

Pride is a palette with cool navy blues and soft teal greens. I LOVE this palette! The blues and greens blend effortlessly together. Though I don't prefer to do many blue looks on a daily basis, I do like this palette for more dramatic looks. I would mostly use certain colors in this palette to do other looks with other shadows because each color is great individually.

Series 3: Wet N Wild Greed Palette Look & Tutorial

I decided to do a series of looks using each of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes (6 Pan). These shadows are really inexpensive and made with really great quality. Each color has amazing pigmentation with  smooth and rich, but never powdery texture. With a mixture of both matte and shimmer eyeshadows, there are endless possibilities to create different looks just by mixing and matching different colors from each palette. Within the next upcoming posts I'll be focusing on creating a look using each palette and working with some (or all) of the 6 colors. Greed is a palette that really caught my attention because I never thought of putting these types of colors together. Unfortunately I didn't have the best luck with this palette. At first sight I thought the colors were really elegant and I thought the colors would be vibrant. The colors turned out to be just okay. I had this look in my head but when I tried to recreate it, it just didn't turn out the way I had hoped. The shimmer colors were the most disappointing because they had the least pigmentation. Overall, this palette would go great for something to wear everyday. I almost didn't want to do a tutorial for it because it didn't seem "tutorial worthy" but since I promised you guys this, here it is! For anyone who has tried this palette or plans to, I hope that you have better luck with it than me. Enjoy! Note: I'll be doing a product review for the lenses I'm wearing in this look. Stay tuned!

Series 2: Wet N Wild Lust Palette Look & Tutorial

I decided to do a series of looks using each of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes (6 Pan). These shadows are really inexpensive and made with really great quality. Each color has amazing pigmentation with  smooth and rich, but never powdery texture. Lust is a gorgeous purple/plum palette. This palette is great for a night out to give you really gorgeous smokey eyes. You can go as simple or dramatic with this palette and it's great for everyday use. The combination of mattes and shimmers give you the option to use this palette in more ways than one. You can dress it up or dress it down but I prefer to go all out with dark sultry eyes.

Series 1: Wet N Wild Vanity Palette Look & Tutorial

Wet n Wild is one of my favorite drugstore brands.  I thought I should restock on a couple of my eyeshadow palettes from WnW since I gave some away.

I decided to do a series of looks using each of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes (6 Pan). These shadows are really inexpensive and made with really great quality. Each color has amazing pigmentation with  smooth and rich, but never powdery texture. With a mixture of both matte and frost eyeshadows, there are endless possibilities to create different looks just by mixing and matching different colors from each palette. Within the next upcoming posts I'll be focusing on creating a look using each palette and working with some (or all) of the 6 colors.

Vanity is a great palette for everyday use. It provides a nice combination of warm browns and soft neutrals with a nice golden shade for a pop of color.
