Princess Eyelashes Makeup Look & Review

If you follow my Twitter or Facebook page then you know I recently went all crazy on some new false eyelashes on my trip to LA. WELL! Despite the major haulage on some new falsies, I have another brand of false eyelashes to review for you guys. Besides you can never have too many falsies!

These lashes are from BornPrettyStore.com (Princess Eyelashes Style #728B). The lashes are actually quite comfortable. I do have to add that a lot of asian brand lashes are surprisingly uncomfortable sometimes. I don't know why! But these are really great. At least for me I don't need to go the extra step to trim or curl them.

The band that goes against your lash line is just right for me. It's not too thin or too thick which matters a lot based on the types of lashes I wear because the comfort of lashes is usually based on the thickness of the band. Anyway, hope you all like the look I did with these lashes. Definitely check them out if you like the style! :)

These run for $7.77 USD.

Series 2: Wet N Wild Lust Palette Look & Tutorial

I decided to do a series of looks using each of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes (6 Pan). These shadows are really inexpensive and made with really great quality. Each color has amazing pigmentation with  smooth and rich, but never powdery texture. With a mixture of both matte and shimmer eyeshadows, there are endless possibilities to create different looks just by mixing and matching different colors from each palette. Within the next upcoming posts I'll be focusing on creating a look using each palette and working with some (or all) of the 6 colors.

Lust is a gorgeous purple/plum palette. This palette is great for a night out to give you really gorgeous smokey eyes. You can go as simple or dramatic with this palette and it's great for everyday use. The combination of mattes and shimmers give you the option to use this palette in more ways than one. You can dress it up or dress it down but I prefer to go all out with dark sultry eyes.

Series 1: Wet N Wild Vanity Palette Look & Tutorial

Wet n Wild is one of my favorite drugstore brands.  I thought I should restock on a couple of my eyeshadow palettes from WnW since I gave some away.

I decided to do a series of looks using each of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes (6 Pan). These shadows are really inexpensive and made with really great quality. Each color has amazing pigmentation with  smooth and rich, but never powdery texture. With a mixture of both matte and frost eyeshadows, there are endless possibilities to create different looks just by mixing and matching different colors from each palette. Within the next upcoming posts I'll be focusing on creating a look using each palette and working with some (or all) of the 6 colors.

Vanity is a great palette for everyday use. It provides a nice combination of warm browns and soft neutrals with a nice golden shade for a pop of color.

Since I haven't done any makeup looks using these palettes, I decided that the next upcoming posts will be featuring each of the Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes. I'm still deciding if I should do tutorials along with them but we'll see how that goes. For now enjoy the swatches in all their glory. Stay tuned!

Smokey Coral + Bottom Lashes

So I'm trying out these new bottom lashes and to be honest, it scared me when I looked at the close up shots. They looked really long and really unnatural, and just straight up scary! But to be honest, they looked a lot better from a distance and in its original packaging. As you can see it looks more like my real bottom lashes when it's not so up close and in your face! So I definitely like how it looks from far away.

I definitely DEFINITELY recommend that you wear this look with something dramatic if you do plan to wear thick bottom lashes like this. I'm sure you can pull it off with a natural look but you'd have to balance it out with really long, vibrant top lashes. By itself is definitely gonna cause people to look at you funny.

Also, they're really long. I suggest snipping off a few strands from either end or you can even cut it in half. If you were to put these on directly without trimming them they may cause a little discomfort.

I think overall, the entire look came out pretty nice. I'm definitely going to try these lashes with something a bit more dramatic to see if it makes any difference. I hope you all like this look but if you're not really feeling the bottom lashes then I don't blame you! But I do think they look great from far away because they make your eyes stand out more. Anyway, thanks for looking. :)

Cool Night FOTD

Just a reminder for everyone, my Sigma giveaway is still open and it's exclusively for my Facebook fan's. Don't forget to enter! Last day to enter is on July 17th. Remember, one entry per person and this giveaway is open internationally!

So I had the chance to play with makeup today and I decided to use products that I'm currently loving, and products I haven't used in a while. I'm reminded of how much I love doing purple and blue looks and I don't do looks using these colors as much as I would like to. So it's nice to break out of my shell every once in a while and play around with color combinations. Anyway, hope you all enjoy this look. Thanks for looking! :)
