Gold Glitter Smokey Eyes for Prom

Hello and long time no post! It's been about 2 weeks since I did my last tutorial and I knew I had to make a comeback soon. I've been stressing out over some personal things going on in my life and doing tutorials is honestly my best escape. I thought I would start a prom series on YouTube and on my blog since prom season is coming up. This look I did is so easy to do and it took very little effort. I thought I would make the look simple and easy to follow for those who will be doing their own makeup for prom. And by simple I mean not complicated, not necessarily natural looking. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it. As always thanks for watching and visiting my blog. Take care! xoxo

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette Everyday Smokey Eyes

I have been getting a TON of requests to do Urban Decay Naked palette tutorials on YouTube. Not specifying which palette to use, I decided to go in with the Basics palette since it's still fairly new to me. I will be doing more looks using the original Naked palette and the Naked 2 palette since I had to take some of the videos off of YouTube due to copyright issues. Ugh! Anyway, here is a really simple everyday smokey eye using the Basics Palette. This looks is really fresh and I love how Venus eyeshadow makes my inner corners pop! Can't wait to do more tutorials with this palette. I need to go harder with more dramatic smokey eyes so that's coming up soon! Stay tuned! For the meantime I hope you all enjoy this look. Thanks for looking!

Romantic Valentine's Day Makeup Tutorial

I am on a roll with these new looks and tutorials! Here is another look for you guys. It's a bit more sultry and smokey, and somewhat more romantic if you choose to use a look like this for Valentine's Day. I like this look because it's smokey but it doesn't scream dramatic, and it has a touch of innocence to it with the soft lips and cheek color. This look doesn't have to be just for Valentine's Day. This is a perfect look for any special occasion or just a night out of town. Always remember that Valentine's Day isn't just about showing your significant other how much you love them. Make sure to spend it with others that you love like your family and yourself! I hope you all have a Happy Valentine's Day!

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette Look & Tutorial

Hey guys! Here's a really simple and natural look with bold lips featuring my Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. This is most likely going to be my Valentine's Day look this year since I'm looking forward to wearing bold lips. Being festive for Valentine's Day isn't all about dressing up the eyes and that's what I felt like going for in this look. If you're curious to know what I'm wearing on the lips, I'm wearing Maybelline Vivids lipstick in Shocking Coral in the first picture and Vivid Rose (my favorite!) in the other. This look will go perfectly with red lips too, or even soft pink lips if you're too afraid to go bold. Either way I hope you all enjoy the look and the tutorial! :)

Signature Eyes

I haven't posted any makeup looks in ages! I decided to play around with makeup for when the boyfriend and I did errands today. I find that I tend to do this same look almost all the time on myself, whether I'm using MAC, Inglot, or drugstore products. Since I did have my eyes done I decided to share it on my Instagram. So now I'm posting it on here for those who aren't following me on Instagram. If you have Instagram, follow me! @ktinass :)

My schedule is really hectic right now and it requires my full attention. Otherwise I'd be blogging every other day! So my blog posts may be looking a little inconsistent for a bit until things start to ease up. Right now it's hard to say when that will happen but I just wanted to put it out there. I had class last night so I had time to squeeze in a tutorial for this look. It's another look using my UD Naked 2 Palette. FOTD: Shimmering Suede Tutorial

I wanted to use one of my favorite MAC pigments and that's Blue Brown pigment. I was really hoping for the blue to show through, but because I added a bronze base it completely took that out. It's okay though because I'm really loving the warm red tones of the brown in this pigment. I think if the blue showed up, I would have loved this look a lot more. Anyway, I'm also wearing G&G circle lenses which I'll be reviewing soon along with other lenses. :)

Brown Smokey Eyes

I don't know what it is but I have this extra crease on my left eye and it's been there for a few weeks now. It bothers me so much! It makes my eye look swollen. I'm not sure if it's because of allergies or not but I just hope it goes away soon! :( Oh and I don't like how this look came out.. but I'm posting it anyway. :)

Urban Decay Naked Palette Look - Simple Wearable Makeup

I'm back again with another look using my UD Naked Palette. I actually did this look a few days ago but I wanted to space out all these neutral looks I had coming up. This one is very easy to do and I don't even think you need this particular palette to do this look. I find it really subtle and work appropriate for those who are looking for ways to do their makeup without over doing it.

This look can also be transformed from a day to night look just by emphasizing the outer corner and crease with a dark brown eyeshadow (Darkhorse) or black eyeshadow (Creep). I wanted to keep it simple though. Hope you like it!

□ Urban Decay Primer Potion
□ MAC Bare Study Paint Pot
