Blue and Green Makeup & Tutorial

Hi everyone! Today's look is super bold and bright! It has to probably be one of my most favorite looks I've done in the history of my makeup career. Haha! I'm just completely obsessed with the combination of blue, green, and teal. This look is dramatic but I find it quite wearable in my opinion. The lips and the cheeks are a bit toned down making it easy to wear without anyone looking at you like you're cray! I hope you all enjoy this look as much as I do. Thanks for watching!

Teal & Coral Makeup for Spring

Spring is here and I can already feel it! It's been a while since I worked with colors so I figured what better way to welcome the Spring season than with a tutorial. I did a makeup look similar to this last year but using different colors. I'm just a huge fan of teal and coral together. The colors compliment each other so much! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the look and the tutorial!

I also forgot to mention that I am officially a YouTube partner. I've been a "partner" for a while now but I recently partnered with Beautique which is operated by Fullscreen, a YouTube network. I'm so excited! I'm looking forward to even bigger and better opportunities for me and I look forward to collaborate with so many talented people. :)

Royal Blue Eyeliner Look

Here's the look I wore when my boyfriend and I went out to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. This look was inspired by a girl named Kristina Monique. I love her name by the way ;) I fell in love with her makeup when she was featured in Pursebuzz's videos. I automatically had to recreate it and I knew I had the most perfect blue eyeliner to go with it. It's a shame that MAC came out with such an amazing product and discontinued it. Had I known they were going to do that I probably would've purchased another jar of Royal Wink Fluidline... or maybe 10 :P But that's okay because I know there's a dupe for it somewhere out there and I believe there is one by Sephora called Fancy Blue. It looks just about right or damn near close to it! I'm probably going to purchase the Sephora liner and keep my Royal Wink Fluidline some place safe because I don't know what I would do without it!

Glittery Blue Makeup for New Years

Hi! Here's my first festive look for New Years using glitter. I wish it was more glittery but I'll try to incorporate more of that in another look. I used clear lash adhesive to apply the glitter onto my eyelid. I always use this technique especially with glitter because it lasts so much longer without fading or creasing.

Midnight Blue & Purple Eye Makeup

Here's more of an evening look that I would wear if I were going downtown. I'm usually the type to do smokey eyes when going out and I would always add some pop of color(s). In this case I decided to go with blue and purple. Beautiful Iris looks so faded and washed out but you should all know how vibrant and luminescent it can be in real life. It's just difficult to capture that. You can see more of it in the natural light pictures that I took but even that doesn't do the eyeshadow any justice. Anyway, hope you all like it! As always, thanks for reading! :)

LOOK: Electric Blue and Green Cut Crease + Tutorial

Okay, so this look was done completely out of the blue (haha get it?). I wanted to do something really dramatic but still keeping it bright and fun. I think with all the Halloween makeup look that people are doing, I've been feeling really inspired. It's been a while since I've done a bright and dramatic look like this so I had a lot of fun doing it! This kind of reminds me of a mermaid look but we'll leave that up for all of you to decide. I just decided to call it Electric since it's so vibrant. As always, I hope you all like this look and thanks for reading! :)

Sultry Smokey Blue Eyes

This look is actually a very long overdue request that I never had a chance to get to until now. I'm not a huge fan of doing looks with blue eyeshadow because it didn't really go well with my red hair at the time. It just seemed like warm and cool colors were clashing and I just couldn't pull it off. But since I dyed my hair darker (I miss my red hair!) I thought I should do something smokey using blue this time.

I can't really tell you much about this look other than it's REALLY EASY to do. I did this look basically with just one eyeshadow (not including the brow bone or lower lash line color). All it really took was a lot of blending and a lot patience. THAT'S IT! So I hope you all like this look. I just realized that since I dyed my hair darker I feel like I should also do my eyebrows darker too. Haha anyway, thanks for reading! :)

Quick Post: Inspired EOTD

I did this look merely for fun because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone because it's been a while since I pulled off a bright color like this. I was really inspired by Fashionista804 on YouTube. I'm not sure what she used exactly but I just decided to use whatever shadows I had on hand. This was taken on my iPhone through the Instagram app (Follow me! Username: damnyoufine). The blue came out really bright and I almost didn't want to walk out my house with it on because it's just been so long since I've done something like this. But I thought that if other people were brave enough to do it then I should too. What better way to express my love for my makeup than to go bold, right? Anyway, I just thought I would share it here as well since I really like how it came out. :) Sorry I don't have any real pictures to show off this look. I really didn't plan on blogging about it.

Products Used:
Blanc Type on the entire lid
MAC Off the Radar pigment [LE] applied to the crease (any burnt orange color will work)
MAC Coppering eyeshadow applied right over the orange to give it more warmth
Urban Decay Electric eyeliner applied to the lower lash line and lower waterline
Inglot #371 matte eyeshadow applied on top of the liner to set it
Wet N Wild Creme Liner

Series 4: Wet N Wild Pride Palette Look & Tutorial

I decided to do a series of looks using each of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes (6 Pan). These shadows are really inexpensive and made with really great quality. Each color has amazing pigmentation with smooth and rich, but never powdery texture. With a mixture of both matte and shimmer eyeshadows, there are endless possibilities to create different looks just by mixing and matching different colors from each palette. Within the next upcoming posts I'll be focusing on creating a look using each palette and working with some (or all) of the 6 colors.

Pride is a palette with cool navy blues and soft teal greens. I LOVE this palette! The blues and greens blend effortlessly together. Though I don't prefer to do many blue looks on a daily basis, I do like this palette for more dramatic looks. I would mostly use certain colors in this palette to do other looks with other shadows because each color is great individually.
