Back From Indio

So I'm back from Indio and I'm so happy to be back home where the weather isn't scorchering hot!! I have a few pictures to show but mostly of what I bought and not pictures of my overall trip.



But anyway... I plan on doing a pink & black FOTD sometime soon because a friend of mine who is getting married is having a bridal shower and she's having a pink theme so I'm excited about that!! [I love getting all dolled up with other beautiful ladies!] & speaking of the wedding, my auntie has chosen me to do her daughters hair & make-up, who happens to be the flower girl. Don't worry, I only plan on adding a little blush to the cheeks and a soft pink lipgloss on her. I'm more excited about doing her hair because my auntie was inspired by me when I used a 3-barrel curling iron on myself and she wants me to do that on her daughter. So yay i'm excited!!

EDIT: Happy Labor Day Weekend!!

Greetings from Indio!! So I got here yesterday around 10pm or so because the family and I stopped by the Outlet to go shopping and we went to go eat after that. So far it's been nothing but hot weather & rain. And there's nothing worst than that because it's so humid!!

We didn't stay long at the outlet because we got there late and I was already tired. And there was actually a CCO there so thanks to Jen for correcting me. [: I guess I never noticed it before so I was happy to know that there was one. I have a small haul from CCO... a very SMALL haul so I'll be posting pictures later on tonight or tomorrow along with pictures from the resort & what not.

I'm leaving Indio tomorrow morning because we're stopping in LA to go to the fashion district and then we'll finally be heading home San Diego. Which reminds me, I have homework due this weekend :[ So until then I'll update you guys on what's been up with me and I'll have pictures posted soon. Take care everyone & have a great day.

Happy Labor Day Weekend!!

Hello there! Okay so I know it's not the long weekend yet but I just wanted to blog because tomorrow after school the family & I are leaving for Indio, Ca. for the weekend. And I won't be back until Sunday. We're staying at a Worldmark Resort which I've been to about 4 times already. It's a great place to go and just relax and have a good time. It's smack down in the middle of the desert... well not really. It's not too far from Palm Springs so it will most def be hot as hell!! And it's a good thing my Auntie Flow came and went for a visit because I would not allow her to rain on my parade hehe. :D

With that said... every trip to Indio also includes a visit to one of THEE best outlet shopping centers I've ever been to. They have so many stores there, it's ridiculous. Unfortunately there's no MAC or CCO or anything like that but it's too hot to wear such make-up anyway. The outlet is called Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon, Ca. They have at least 130 stores in this outlet some including Juicy Couture, BCBG, Saks 5th Avenue, Calvin Klein, Charlotte Russe, Zumiez, etc.

So yeah, I just wanted to give you guys a quick update on what's gonna be going on for me this weekend. Now all's I gotta do is finish the last day of school for the week and I'll be good to go. It's my brother's 24th birthday this Monday & my boyfriends 21st birthday on Tuesday so yay for them!! LOL. I'll update when I get to Indio with pictures and what not.

FOTD & A Few Updates

So school has started for me [last week actually] and I'm barely settling down to my new schedule. I'm sad that summer is over [no more boyfriend, he's back up north] but I'm happy that I finally get to go back to school because the sooner I can finish and be out on my own! I'm actually very happy with the classes that I have this semester. Including Business Law & Business Calculus. I'm a little nervous of what to expect but I've been doing really well these past couple of semesters so I'm pretty confident in myself. [:


Anyway, I'll be attending a friends wedding in October and I'm so excited because I can't wait to get all dolled up. She has a fall motif meaning there will be a lot of brown & champagne colors at the wedding. I'm actually wearing something more colorful yet settle & fall-like so hopefully I won't stand out too much in the crowd. What I plan on doing is posting some FOTD's on some possible looks that I would do at the wedding and hopefully get some feedback from my readers on which look would look best for the wedding. So expect that to happen sometime soon!!

I'm very aware that my outfit has no purple whatsoever but I decided to go with a purple look because I think purple eyes are very complimentary to almost anything you wear. I dare you to disagree!! hehe. & this FOTD is actually a lot darker with a much more defined crease but my camera completely washed it out and made it look really harsh but you get the idea...
