Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette Look & Tutorial
Posted by
Unknown
Hey guys! Here's a really simple and natural look with bold lips featuring my Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. This is most likely going to be my Valentine's Day look this year since I'm looking forward to wearing bold lips. Being festive for Valentine's Day isn't all about dressing up the eyes and that's what I felt like going for in this look. If you're curious to know what I'm wearing on the lips, I'm wearing Maybelline Vivids lipstick in Shocking Coral in the first picture and Vivid Rose (my favorite!) in the other. This look will go perfectly with red lips too, or even soft pink lips if you're too afraid to go bold. Either way I hope you all enjoy the look and the tutorial! :)

Sparkling Gold and Brown Makeup Look

I've been on a neutral kick lately ever since I stocked up on my Inglot eyeshadows. If you're from San Diego and you don't follow my Facebook page then you probably missed my comment about a new Inglot counter opening inside Macy's at Fashion Valley (*squeals in excitement!!!) I was actually in Irvine visiting family last week and I decided to make a stop at the Inglot store in Newport Beach. That was when I first heard they just opened a new counter in San Diego. I was so excited that a Macy's over here was one of the select stores that was opening a new Inglot counter! On another note I got my Inglot Pro card :D This card offers 20% off on their cosmetics. The downside to this is that they don't accept it at counters, only at Inglot freestanding stores, through telephone, and I'm not sure about online but possibly so! I'm happy to have it either way! :D
Anyway! Here is a really quick and easy look I did the other day. I wanted to do something neutral, that's why I decided to stick with lighter shades of golds and browns, but still adding a pop of shimmer to keep it looking radiant (it's one of my favorite ways of making your eyes look brighter). Thanks for reading. Enjoy! :)

FOTD: Every Day Look
Posted by

Sorry for the lack of updates! Anyway, it's cold in San Diego now! It was raining all day today but the sun is starting to come out. I haven't been doing that many FOTD's lately just because I haven't felt like it. And even if I did I'd most likely just do my "every day look". I think I've officially labeled this as my every day look because it's really simple to do and it's pretty natural. I'm not gonna list what I used because I've mentioned almost all these products before in my natural & brown looks. And this look can be easily duplicated using different products that look the same. But I hope you like it!

check out my big ass forehead :P

Bought an Essential Tools contour brush [little fall-out after washing, almost as soft as the MAC 168 but not quite, Ardell lashes in 101 Demi & 105, & Silk Elements hair conditioner. [Review for this product will be posted soon]

I VOTED! I went to the nearest voting poll which happens to be at my old Jr. High up the street and when I turned in my ballot the lady asked me if I was hispanic. I said no I'm Filipino and she gave me this sticker. Haha.
My funky double eyelid.
This happens sometimes when I wake up in the morning.

Finally Done With My Exam!

So because I successfully got through my super hard test of the week, I decided to go to CCO and see what they got in store for me. Plus I wanted to visit my favorite stalker sales person but it was too bad she wasn't there. LOL. Anyway, the CCO down here is pretty weak. I was disappointed in my findings because there wasn't much that I would find myself buying or even using for that matter! I just bought two lipglasses which I'm very satisfied with. The colors are so pretty! One is Electro-Lush which I'm wearing right now and OMG... can I say new favorite lipglass?! Forreal though! Haha. I also got Sock Hop from the Heatherette collection. This would've been my 2nd choice of l/g when the collection came out, but when I went to go buy it they were sold out so I was happy they had it this time. I also got a make-up bag from DW [a make-up line for Lancome]. It's so cute and it's a pretty hot pink color!

* * * * * * * * * *
I haven't been doing so many FOTDS and if I do, they're mostly neutrals & browns. But other than, it's just been nothing but my "natural look" for the past few days.
