GAAAHD I love him. I swear he's my best friend in the whole world. I could think of a hundred ways he could piss me off. But in the end I know I have so much love for him that all the little sh*t we go through don't even matter. And trust me when I say that because we do argue and we do get on each others nerves at times. But I do love the fact that he drives across California for 10 hours just to be with me. I couldn't ask for anyone else to share my happiness with. AWW I'm so corny right?! :P Haha. But anyhooo.. real sh*t, he's my best friend. When he comes down here to be with me, I swear we take over SD & we run it like no other. I don't have that many days to be with him because he has to go back up north (booo!) to go to school. But we're most def gonna take advantage of the time we have together. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm [:

This does get corny so if you're not into that sappy love sh*t then I recommend not watching it :P

Ly-Na Pearl Face Cream

I finally bought the Ly-Na Pearl Face Cream because I've heard so many good reviews on it. I bought it at Seafood City for $2.79. When I bought it, I imagined it being a little bit bigger but for the price it gives, I firgured it was well worth the cost. The packaging is also pretty cheap and it's pretty funny because when you open the box you see a picture of a man. Haha, big shocker!


Anyway, the smell isn't too bad but it reminds me a lot of my grandma. I don't know if that ever happens to you, but you know when you're so used to smelling that familiar smell, and you smell something just like it, it brings you back. Haha, I don't know if that makes sense but right when I smelt it, I automatically thought of my grandma. Haha. Maybe she uses this stuff. :P


I'll most def do a review on it soon with before & after pictures. I have a few pimple scars on my forehead and around my chin area so hopefully this stuff will work its magic on me. :)

Inspirational Look for Halloween!

I love HALLOWEEN. It's the only time of the year where you can walk out of your house looking like a complete skank and nobody will look at you weird. :P So as an Original Gangster like myself [just kidding].. I decided to do the "Smile Now Cry Later" clown face. Here's my inspiration..

Yeeeee boyyyyyy!! I got a B+ on my Business Law exam. Told you that sh*t was easy! Anywho, I still have yet to try out the Essence of Beauty brushes. I sort've tried the powder brush and it works fine. There are some little fall out in the bristles but, they are travel size and so I was prepared for some cons. I still like it though and I'll continue to carry it around with me wherever I go. [:



On to the FOTD. Yes I know... purple again? Yeah! Hehe. I have a GINORMOUS headache right now and I don't know why. I think I'm getting sick because I keep sneezing and I'm itchy all over! This is a common sign when my body is trying to tell me to prepare myself for this winter. ]: BOO! I don't want to get sick!


Oh yeah.. 2 more days til the wedding. Did I mention I was doing the flower girls hair & make-up as well as my moms & myself? And we gotta be there at 2pm. UGH... it's gonna be stressful, I just know it. F*ck that, I've decided I'm not having a big wedding when my day comes. LOL! Boyfriend, did you hear that? No big wedding okay!! :P

Essence Of Beauty Brushes

EDIT: Just wanna say thanks to all the ladies for their love & support with me and my long distant lover boy. Hehe. I know, it gets tough and I'm happy that I'm not the only one going through this. My boyfriend is actually coming down next week so I'm excited. I haven't seen him since August! Once he leaves, I won't see him again till December. :[ But thanks again ladies!


So during my break at school today I went to CVS to look at some of their EoB brushes. And like I've mentioned previously, I'm looking for brushes to take along with me when I'm out & about. And instead of bringing around full size brushes, I would want to have little miniature ones with the same quality as regular size brushes. I purchased this travel brush set for only $7.99. And they are CRAAAAZY soft to the touch. I love how they come in a little case where you can place them inbetween the bands to keep them from moving around. The cases come in different colors like black, brown, red & white. I think it's most def a "must-have" especially if you're going places like school or work or even out to dinner. My wallet is even bigger than this.... come on people, it's a done deal! And since it's small, it can even fit in your pocket or even inside your bra! LOL. I mean, if you're one of those ladies who like to stuff their bra then okay! I'm just kidding.. I meant if you go places and you don't bring a purse like when you go clubbing! :D

Finally Done With My Exam!

I finally got done with my Business Law test. Damn, I hardly studied for it because I just skimmed through all 4 chapters. But I was pretty confident. When I was going over the test I was like oh my fudge.. this is pretty easy. LOL. You have no idea how many breaks I took from studying last night because I just couldn't help myself. I was either looking online for make-up related ish, cleaning my bathroom or talking to my boyfriend. Anyway, lately I've been "window shopping" online for travel kits and things to take with me when I'm "on-the-go". And like the MAC 129 short handle brush, I'm also looking for travel eyeshadow brushes. I just want something to take with me when I'm "on-the-go" so I don't have to take all my brushes with me whenever I go places. This Smashbox Traveler Brush Kit runs for $60 at Ulta. They look pretty good to me but I guess I gotta see it to believe it if I ever do consider buying it. I hate buying expensive ass brushes that end up disappointing me in the end.

So because I successfully got through my super hard test of the week, I decided to go to CCO and see what they got in store for me. Plus I wanted to visit my favorite stalker sales person but it was too bad she wasn't there. LOL. Anyway, the CCO down here is pretty weak. I was disappointed in my findings because there wasn't much that I would find myself buying or even using for that matter! I just bought two lipglasses which I'm very satisfied with. The colors are so pretty! One is Electro-Lush which I'm wearing right now and OMG... can I say new favorite lipglass?! Forreal though! Haha. I also got Sock Hop from the Heatherette collection. This would've been my 2nd choice of l/g when the collection came out, but when I went to go buy it they were sold out so I was happy they had it this time. I also got a make-up bag from DW [a make-up line for Lancome]. It's so cute and it's a pretty hot pink color!

I haven't been doing so many FOTDS and if I do, they're mostly neutrals & browns. But other than, it's just been nothing but my "natural look" for the past few days.

Hopefully you ladies don't get confused!! I know those of you that link my site to your blog has always been BrightColoredMakeup but I've officially changed it to TinaMarieOnline. Is that more dank status or what?! But I don't care. Reason being? Well, not everyday am I gonna be able to post make-up related topics on here and not everyday do I wear bright colored makeup. The name was just a phase and well, I hope you ladies don't get confused. I know when I google search BrightColoredMakeup, my old Xanga and this current Blogspot pops up. FOTD: Purple Vixen

A lot of you ladies ask what type of camera I use to take my pictures and how I get my close-up eye shots to be so clear. I use a Sony Cybershot DSC-W70 with 7.2 megapixel. I've had this digital camera for almost 2 years [on December]. When I take my pictures, I make sure I get a good amount of light in front of me to pick up enough color when I take the shot. I make sure the Micro setting is turned ON and I either sit in front of a desk lamp, or stand in front of my bathroom mirror with the lights on. Sometimes when I do this the picture often turns out yellow and that's when I go outside or stand in front of an open window and let the natural light shine on me. Either way works for me. It just really depends on the look and whether or not I prefer natural light or incandescent light. Also, even though I have natural/incandescent light to make the shot more clear, I still use the flash. [:

Anywhooo, something is up with the weather and it's causing me to break out and have dry skin. I hate that! My face is most def a hot mess right now. No matter how much I moisturize, my face always turns out dry/flakey. Hopefully as the weather cools, my face won't be so irritated. -____-

I've seen a few of you ladies post some purple EOTDs lately and if you don't already know, I love purple when it comes to eyeshadow. I honestly can't stress this enough. I love how purple looks on the eyes. I've mentioned it before that it's so complimenting to pretty much anything you wear. And it's true. Not only with what you wear but I think it draws a lot of attention to your eyes. The kind of attention you WANT and not the kind you get for looking crazy. I went over the top with this look and it's not at all subtle. Tell me what you ladies think. [:

Happy Sunday ladies! Geez it feels like I haven't posted any LOTDs in a while so I chose to play around with makeup while I had the chance. I only did one eye this time just because I did this look all for fun. And eww please don't mind my eyebrows, I know they're a hot mess right now. & I know the eyeliner is hella sloppy! :P But overall I hope you like it. Now that I see it I should've done like a really bright green on the lower lashline. Oh well maybe when I have the chance I'll do a whole face with this look. What do you think? Goodbye Good Buy

The title explains it all! I went on the MAC website and stumbled upon their "Goodbyes" section and I saw that the 136 Large Powder Brush will soon be discontinued [along with a sh*t load of other things]. WHAT THE FUDGE?! Okay so ladies, if you haven't already purchased this brush, I highly recommend it. Unfortunately it's the most expensive MAC brush they have but this brush works wonders. So to me, it is considered a "good buy". I was lucky enough to purchase this brush at CCO for half the price that it's worth but if you're ready to fork out some money, investing in this brush would be well worth the cost. So I suggest getting this brush now that you have the chance because not all CCO's are guaranteed to have it. Have fun & happy spending :]

As Natural As It Gets

So besides doing full face looks and dramatic eyes and thick lashes, I do go natural sometimes. Don't think I don't have my days where I don't feel like spending so much time doing my make-up. Trust me, I'm NOT a morning person. Hehe. I actually don't have any eyeshadow on besides Nylon e/s to highlight and for the lips I'm only wearing Of Corset l/g. I also applied Phloof! e/s to the inner tear ducts of my eyes but it's not really visible through the pictures. Hmm.. do I look different with less make-up?? LOL.

[I spelt iridescent wrong. lol]
