Teal & Coral Makeup for Spring

Spring is here and I can already feel it! It's been a while since I worked with colors so I figured what better way to welcome the Spring season than with a tutorial. I did a makeup look similar to this last year but using different colors. I'm just a huge fan of teal and coral together. The colors compliment each other so much! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the look and the tutorial!

I also forgot to mention that I am officially a YouTube partner. I've been a "partner" for a while now but I recently partnered with Beautique which is operated by Fullscreen, a YouTube network. I'm so excited! I'm looking forward to even bigger and better opportunities for me and I look forward to collaborate with so many talented people. :)

New Years Eve Makeup Look #3 - Last Post of the Year!

Here's my last NYE look and possibly my last post of the year! Goodbye 2011, hello 2012! It'll be the year of the dragon, and I'm a dragon according to the Japanese zodiac. So I'm excited for the new year and I have so much faith in myself that 2012 will be good to me. :)

I asked the boyfriend what colors remind him most of New Years and he says black and gold so I decided to take his word for it and create a dramatic cut crease look with shimmery golds and glitter. Hope you all like this look! Thank you all for sticking with me for yet another year. Cheers! :D

Christmas Inspired Makeup

I can't believe Christmas is over :( It went by so fast! All the anticipation and preparation felt so long and now it's over and done with. I wanted to post this look before Christmas but I couldn't get around to it. But anyone could pull off this color combo whenever they want, if they're nto bold and colorful looks! Anyway, New Years is just around the corner and I have a feeling it's gonna go buy just as quick as Christmas did. I know some of you are into bright colors and glitter for New Years so I'm hoping to get some looks before then. I only wish I can film tutorials for these looks but I'll see what I can do! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Enjoy the look! :)

Autumn Rose with a Pop of Glitter Makeup Look

I tried to do a Halloween look last night but it was a complete fail! I didn't even bother to take pictures of it because it just wasn't happening for me. I really thought it was gonna come out looking amazing but I guess I'll leave it to the professionals. :P

Anyway, here's a look I did a few days ago. I've been on a color kick lately and seeing all the Halloween looks has got me inspired. But now that Halloween is almost over I think it's time that I get into season, right? :) With that said, enjoy this fun look I did using mostly Sugarpill products. I'm seriously in love with MUFE #5 eyeshadow so I had to incorporate it. I don't use it that often but when I do I just can't get over how much I love it! It's my favorite peachy/coral eyeshadow! Please don't mind the ugly lips. I was in a rush to snap pictures so I had to grab the closest thing to me. >___<

Quick Post: Inspired EOTD

I did this look merely for fun because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone because it's been a while since I pulled off a bright color like this. I was really inspired by Fashionista804 on YouTube. I'm not sure what she used exactly but I just decided to use whatever shadows I had on hand. This was taken on my iPhone through the Instagram app (Follow me! Username: damnyoufine). The blue came out really bright and I almost didn't want to walk out my house with it on because it's just been so long since I've done something like this. But I thought that if other people were brave enough to do it then I should too. What better way to express my love for my makeup than to go bold, right? Anyway, I just thought I would share it here as well since I really like how it came out. :) Sorry I don't have any real pictures to show off this look. I really didn't plan on blogging about it.

Products Used:
Blanc Type on the entire lid
MAC Off the Radar pigment [LE] applied to the crease (any burnt orange color will work)
MAC Coppering eyeshadow applied right over the orange to give it more warmth
Urban Decay Electric eyeliner applied to the lower lash line and lower waterline
Inglot #371 matte eyeshadow applied on top of the liner to set it
Wet N Wild Creme Liner

Warm Eyes For Fall

I haven't done a tutorial in a while and I knew I wanted this next one to be fall inspired so this is the look I came up with the other day. I would consider it a subtle smokey eye since it's not fully smothered in black eyeshadow but you can definitely smoke it out a lot more for more drama. I'm really looking forward to this fall season. As much as I love Summer, there's no better feeling than getting cozy and warm than feeling hot and sweaty. Haha! Anyway, more fall/smokey looks should be coming up soon so stay tuned! :)

Smokey Plum

I know it's Springtime and I should be doing more brighter, lighter looks but I just wanted to get this one look out of my system. I promise though that after this I'll be doing more Spring appropriate looks. The weather in SD right now is being really weird though. It'll be sunny one minute then drizzling with rain clouds over you the next. Now it's windy! San Diego has some crazy weather sometimes. Anyway, hope you all like this look. I personally don't like it very much. I think in the pictures it appears to not be blended very well but I think my camera picks up more flaws than it should. :( I also noticed it looks almost the same as the last look I did only darker. See how much I lack in creativity!? Shame on me. Haha anyway don't mind my messy hair! My hair was still damp because I just finished taking a shower. Enjoy! :)

LOOK: Plum & Orange Gradient

I had this idea of a look envisioned in my mind and it was done using these same colors but it didn't come out exactly as I had hoped. Nevertheless I really like how this look came out. I like it because I stepped away from using black eyeshadow, which is pretty much my "comfort blanket" color. When all things go wrong, just add black eyeshadow to make it smokey and I'm good. I almost busted it out but I'm glad I didn't. Even though this look is just okay to me, it is something I find different compared to MOST of the looks I do. I'm usually the type do a gradient from the inner to the outer corners. This time I went vertically which I don't do very often. I know I'm getting way too technical but I hope you know what I'm talking about haha! Anyway, hope you all like it. It isn't very visible when my eyes are opened so I made sure I had some head shots with my eyes closed to show you all. Enjoy! :)

Sunset On Thanksgiving

Haha okay so let me explain the title. I tried to recreate my Thanksgiving look (I know I am long overdue) so this is the look that I came up with. It isn't even the same look but I thought it was a little Thanksgiving-esque. Nonetheless I hope you all like it. I also recorded a really random video with my iPhone which is surprising because I don't do videos anymore! Hahah. But yeah I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! Happy Holidays!! :)
