My mom really liked my Autumn Rose with a Pop of Glitter look so she wanted me to do a similar look on her for a party she was attending over the weekend. I didn't want to use all of the same colors since it would've been too bright for her so I decided to create a more smokey look but still keeping a bit of color in it. :)

Autumn Rose with a Pop of Glitter Makeup Look

I tried to do a Halloween look last night but it was a complete fail! I didn't even bother to take pictures of it because it just wasn't happening for me. I really thought it was gonna come out looking amazing but I guess I'll leave it to the professionals. :P

Anyway, here's a look I did a few days ago. I've been on a color kick lately and seeing all the Halloween looks has got me inspired. But now that Halloween is almost over I think it's time that I get into season, right? :) With that said, enjoy this fun look I did using mostly Sugarpill products. I'm seriously in love with MUFE #5 eyeshadow so I had to incorporate it. I don't use it that often but when I do I just can't get over how much I love it! It's my favorite peachy/coral eyeshadow! Please don't mind the ugly lips. I was in a rush to snap pictures so I had to grab the closest thing to me. >___<

Okay, so this look was done completely out of the blue (haha get it?). I wanted to do something really dramatic but still keeping it bright and fun. I think with all the Halloween makeup look that people are doing, I've been feeling really inspired. It's been a while since I've done a bright and dramatic look like this so I had a lot of fun doing it! This kind of reminds me of a mermaid look but we'll leave that up for all of you to decide. This look is actually an inspired and recreated look of YouTube Guru Jazziebabycakes' Painted Lady tutorial. She's super talented and I'm a huge fan of her work and when I was browsing through her videos I fell in love with this so I decided to do my rendition of it. I think it came out a little bit sloppy (compared to hers). It was really late and my eyes kept watering but I kept going! I had a lot of fun doing this look because it's definitely something that I'm not used to. But it's nice to step out of my comfort zone every now and then. :) Thanks for reading! Enjoy! :)

Soft Purple Smokey Eyes Look & Tutorial

Have you ever had those moments where you try to do your makeup but it just won't come out right? You have this look envisioned in your mind but it just won't happen when you try to do it? That's how it's been for me lately and I think it shows! Oh well... some will like it and some won't but it is what it is! I think I've noticed that I do better looks when I don't plan it so from now on I'm just gonna wing it. :)

Here's a look I did yesterday, which didn't come out the way I was hoping to (not surprising). I did get compliments on this look though, even from the boyfriend! This look came out a lot more vibrant and brighter in person, but still very wearable. My camera still has a hard time picking up the true colors of my looks. Anyone have any tips or tricks for me? One 'n Only Argan Oil Treatment Review

Argan Oil Treatment is a non-greasy, alcohol-free formula that is absorbed instantly into the hair, creating a brilliant shine without leaving any oily residue. Smoothes the cuticle for silky, conditioned and healthy-looking hair. Helps protect against damage caused by chemicals, excessive heat from styling and environmental factors. Eliminates frizz.

I decided to purchase Argan Oil because I heard so many amazing things it does for your hair. I didn't purchase this right away because I've been a long time user of Biosilk but after using this product just once, I was already hooked! Now that I've been using this for several weeks now I think it's safe to say that I probably won't rely on any other serum or oil treatment for my hair unless I find something better. But why ruin a good thing right? :)

Since I did a review on this product on Beautylish a lot of people have asked me how it compares to Moroccan oil. As it states on the bottle, Argan Oil is derived from Moroccan Argan Trees but I've never tried Moroccan oil itself. So I can't differentiate between the two, though I've heard great things about both of them.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
□ This is definitely a product that I would recommend to anyone as I don't see how you can go wrong with this product since there's nothing but good things about it! I would encourage those who have dry, frizzy, hard to manage hair to purchase this because it has made all the difference on my hair. If you've been a long time user of Biosilk like I have or if you've never used anything in your hair before, you'll be amazed how much better your hair will look and feel after you put Argan Oil in it. 

□ Since I've used this product religiously after washing or styling my hair I noticed that it doesn't just improve the look and feel of my hair up until I have to wash it again. I noticed that it also improves the look and feel of my hair even after I haven't even applied it yet. So I think it's very beneficial for your hair for a lot longer than you have it on. My hair is usually really coarse and frizzy when my hair is dry from washing it but since using Argan Oil my hair has "naturally" tamed itself.

□ I really like the design of the opening because it doesn't require you to squeeze the product out which would lead to excess product in your hair. That's why at first when I purchased it I didn't think it would last me that long considering how much you get and the length of my hair. But I usually just tap the bottle in the palm of my hand until I feel like I have a good amount for my hair. Remember a little bit goes a long way!

Achieve the Look: Peachy Golden Brown EOTD

I just got home from a night out and I'm really tired but I thought I would push this out of the way before I go to sleep. This is my eye makeup I wore tonight. I wanted something subtle but I didn't want to go with basic browns and neutrals. I didn't feel like putting any effort into a smokey eye either so I decided to go with some golds and browns with a pop of shimmery coral in the inner third. My camera has a hard time picking up shimmers and light colors so it looks really washed out! I had to play with the contrast a little bit when I was cropping the pictures.

Since I was in a rush to do this look I didn't have time to take any full face shots. But in case anyone is wondering, I paired it with Elf Pink Kiss gloss with NARS Laguna bronzer and MAC Blonde MSF on the cheeks. I'll put down the list of eyeshadows some time tomorrow because right now I don't have them memorized. I'm just so ready for bed! Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder Review

Do you have oily skin like I do? Well this powder has been my holy grail and has worked incredibly on my T-zone. I know this product isn't technically brand new to most of you but I felt like I should have my own review on it since I've been using it for a long time now. 

I've always set my foundation with powder but whatever I would use would never really last a sufficient amount of time for me on its own. On top of that, I really hated the idea of having to bust out my compact all the time just to control my shine.

I can't remember when I first started using the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder but so far it's been one of the best I've tried! I don't get as oily as I used to but I still get shiny from time to time and this powder works amazing when it comes to mattifying my face! I find myself only touching up with this powder just once when I'm out. Sometimes I'll do it twice but that's usually because I know I'm going to be out all night as well.

*Note: I don't use this to set my foundation. This is only my touch up powder that stays in my purse. :)

FINAL THOUGHTS:
□ If you're looking for something with good coverage, this product is not for you. I'm in the shade Beige and even though it looks a lot lighter than my skin, the sheer coverage makes it a good color choice for me. This powder stays in my makeup bag that I bring along with me everywhere I go. Even though I don't need to rely on it every hour because of its longevity, there's always those moments where I need it. For example, if I'm out with friends and we're going to take pictures then I'll do a quick touch up just to be safe!

Sultry Smokey Blue Eyes

This look is actually a very long overdue request that I never had a chance to get to until now. I'm not a huge fan of doing looks with blue eyeshadow because it didn't really go well with my red hair at the time. It just seemed like warm and cool colors were clashing and I just couldn't pull it off. But since I dyed my hair darker (I miss my red hair!) I thought I should do something smokey using blue this time.

I can't really tell you much about this look other than it's REALLY EASY to do. I did this look basically with just one eyeshadow (not including the brow bone or lower lash line color). All it really took was a lot of blending and a lot patience. THAT'S IT! So I hope you all like this look. I just realized that since I dyed my hair darker I feel like I should also do my eyebrows darker too. Haha anyway, thanks for reading! :)
